In 2018 I started a consulting design service GROUNDBREAKING Design (GRBG).
Thomas was the first client and we were so successful together he was my only client for two years. The CAD design is just the final extension of my design process. My excellence in ideation is a product of over 15 years in furniture development and can be seen in the evolution of each design.
The photography featured here (as with the rest of the site) is my photography and a part of my design process/service. I provided full design capabilities, and worked directly with Thomas on all the projects featured here. The work at THS is unrivaled. The men and women that create each piece by hand are the most talented artisans I have worked with.
When I joined THS the line had already established itself as a perfect blend of materials with a sophisticated mid-century aesthetic. I adapted the themes for custom and new product development. The first and most obvious example was the Hanna Bed. The design utilized the spline design of the existing Hanna sectional creating a unique intersection.
The work featured is just a small collection of my new product development. It does not include the hundreds of custom designs I provided THS.
Because the amount of ideation and custom development I provided was unparalleled, I wanted to show just a sample of the custom designs/drawings I created in my time with THS below. This is not everything but it provides a visual reference for the vastness of product development I can offer. For client protection I have obscured the Interior design firms and blurred the images to prevent unwanted dimension/assembly disclosure.
